New videos, plus random updates
I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. To make it up to you all, let me take you to the movies for 10 minutes...
The above is a short film by Paul, who's site is linked off to the left. It's well worth checking out, even though he crushed my spirit when he didn't allow me to help out on the project. Be sure to click on his Profile to check out some of his other stuff as well. If you register at Jumpcut, you can even send the video some love.
So go ahead and do it already.
Beyond that, I'm once again considering a new look for the site. Sure, it'll be yet another redesign, but since I switched over to playing with CSS, I'm getting the hang of it, and can probably improve on this, while trimming the fat.

Hey, thanks for embedding my movie! Why didn't you embed the one you starred in? (That's right, 'starred'. Instead of leaving it untitled, I'm thinking of renaming it 'Half An Hour To Destroy The Mothership'.)
I'm really loving jumpcut.com lately. I need some more material just to post there. Everything else I have is too old and originally shot on 16mm with a crappy transfer. Time to shoot something new. Like 'The Adventures of Leftface & Rightface'.
Actually, I have been thinking a lot lately about ditching the planned interactivity that made the project so unwieldy and rewriting T.U.I. as a feature film -- in fact, that's what I should have done in the first place when the Grand Experiment™ wasn't going that well, but I was too focused on the master plan to see the obvious thing to do.
Why not the other one?
I'm a humble kinda guy!
Plus I figured that if I embed EVERYTHING here, then nobody would get a chance to vote on Jumpcut. :)
As for turning T.U.I. into a straight up film, that would be pretty cool, actually.
Wow I got like 8 views on this vid that were referred from this blog entry. Your blog has more readers than I thought -- about twice as many as mine. XD
